Windows 10 Home Download, Installation & Activation Instructions
Before You Begin
• If you already have an OS installed, back up your data to prevent loss.
• Only one version of Windows should be installed on your machine. Uninstall others to avoid conflicts.
• Ensure your PC meets Windows 10 Home system requirements (see below).
System Requirements
Ensure your device is compatible with Windows 10 Home:
• Processor: 1 GHz or faster, 32-bit or 64-bit
• RAM: 1 GB (32-bit) / 2 GB (64-bit)
• Storage: At least 20 GB
• Graphics: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver
• Display: Minimum 800 x 600 resolution
• Internet: Required for activation and updates

Download Windows 10 Home
Go to Microsoft’s official download page:

Click “Download Now” under the Media Creation Tool section and follow the next steps.
How to Install Windows 10 Home
Create Installation Media with Media Creation Tool
• Run the downloaded tool as Administrator
• Choose “Create installation media for another PC”
Select:
• Language
• Edition: Windows 10
• Architecture: 32-bit, 64-bit, or Both
Choose media:
• USB flash drive (8 GB minimum) — recommended
• ISO file — for later DVD burning
Click Finish when complete
Perform the Installation
• Insert the USB or DVD into the target PC
• Restart the PC and enter BIOS/UEFI to boot from USB/DVD
• On the install screen:
• Set language, region, and input method
• Click Install Now
• Enter your Windows 10 Home license key
• Accept the license terms
• Choose Custom: Install Windows only
• Select or format the drive > Click Next
• Follow the on-screen setup to complete installation
If your PC boots into the old OS, power it off fully and retry booting from USB/DVD.
Activate Windows 10 Home
• Open Settings > System > Activation
• Click Change product key
• Enter your 25-character key
• Click Next → Windows will verify and activate automatically
Once successful, you’ll see “Windows is activated” confirmation.
Troubleshooting Activation
• Wrong Edition? You must be on Windows 10 Home to use a Home key
• Typo in Key: Double-check your license
• VPN Active?: Disable and retry
• Still not working?: Restart your PC, or reach out to support
